Group Takes Jonathan’s Campaign To U.S>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

A pan-Igbo socio cultural group, South-East Amalgamation For Jonathan/Sambo, rooting for the president’s re-election has taken the 2015 campaign train to the United States of America.

The group’s head of delegation and national co-ordinator, Nze Elvis Agukwe, who made this known to Daily Independent, also assured that it would gather the required support for the president during the poll.
He disclosed that a high-powered delegation which has already departed Nigeria to attend this year’s World Igbo Congress convention in the United States would make sure no stone is left unturned in ensuring that Igbos all across the globe are mobilise for Jonathan’s re-election.
Agukwe further explained that the mission of the group is to present to Ndigbo in the Diaspora, the numerous achievements that have so far taken place in Igboland, courtesy Jonathan-led administration.

Although there are strong indications that President Goodluck Jonathan will contest in the 2015 presidential election, but he is yet to officially make his ambition public.
It would be recalled that the Presidency had earlier hinted that , after the poll has been scheduled for February 14 next year by the Independent National Electoral Commission.  Other groups and organisations had also been calling on the President to make his intention known,
